The “Us” in “About Us”, is actually just me.

I’m a bit of an oddity; I started my career in the Canadian Forces, and then moved into the workforce as a white collar worker, with multiple Computer Science university degrees… and then I decided to become a blue collar worker and get my hands dirty.

I’ve started over numerous times, and I’m consequently in a similar position to most twenty-somethings in North America right now: I leverage my skills as best as I can, but mostly have to take entry-level jobs, as companies no longer wish to train anyone.

I also don’t own my own home (I live in a travel trailer), and, at the rate governments are destroying the value of our currency through inflationary printing, I likely never will have my own house.

However, I’m old enough to remember what it used to be like.

I remember when people with decent jobs owned nice houses, and if two people in that household worked decent jobs… well… they could then afford a really nice house.

I remember being a kid, when $5 was a lot of money. That $5 would get me more candy than I could carry. $100 would let my mom cover a month’s worth of groceries for the four of us… and that included a lot of chicken and steaks!

It wasn’t that long ago!!

I remember what’s been taken from us.

I remember, and it pisses me off.

It should piss you off too.

Come and be incendiary with me.
